LSA
The LSA (Link State Advertisement) is used by OSPF to advertise routing information. Instead of advertising an entire routing table, OSPF generates LSAs with routing information that are flooded throughout the required areas. By combining multiple LSAs, routers are able to build the LSDB (Link State Database) which gives a complete picture of the area.
