Cloud

Cloud computing is a method where we focus on delivering services and self-serving to users, instead of the more traditional way where we build our own data center with physical servers, software, applications and IT department.  For example, let’s say a developer wants to publish a new web application. With traditional computing, the developer would contact the IT department, requests the installation of a new web server. With cloud computing, the developer can sign up for a web server and within a few minutes, a web server with all required software is installed. The developer only has to upload his/her code and that’s it. Once the service is no longer required, it can be terminated right away. These lessons are about cloud computing.
